- Select Merge PDFs and download the combined document.
Examples
A job application wants one file
Add your cover letter and CV, put the cover letter first and merge. The page count of each file is shown, so you can check nothing is missing.
Monthly invoices in one PDF
Add the invoices and select Sort A–Z if their names start with the date, or drag them into order, then merge them into a single file with a bookmark for each invoice.
Only some pages are needed
Select Choose pages on a file and type 1-3, 5 to keep just those pages. Or switch to the Pages view, see every page and remove the ones you do not need.
A scanned page is sideways
Open the Pages view, find the page by its preview and rotate it. Only that page turns; the rest stay as they are.
One of the files is password-protected
It is flagged before merging. Remove the password in the app that created the PDF, then add it again.
Limitations
- Up to 20 files, 50 MB and 200 pages in total.
- Password-protected PDFs cannot be merged. Remove the password in the app that created the file first.
- Fillable form fields, digital signatures and attachments may not be preserved. Merging invalidates digital signatures.
Privacy
This tool processes files on your device. Files are not uploaded for processing, and nothing you choose is stored after you close or reset the page. Read our privacy notice.
Troubleshooting
A file is marked as protected
That PDF is encrypted. Open it in the app that created it, remove the password and save a new copy.
A file is marked as damaged
The file could not be read. Try opening and saving it again in a PDF reader, then choose the new copy.
Questions and answers
How do I merge PDF files?
Choose your PDFs, arrange them in order and press Merge PDFs. The pages are combined in the order shown.
Can I rotate or delete pages before merging?
Yes. Switch to the Pages view to see a preview of every page. Rotate a page, remove it or move it anywhere; Undo reverses the last change.
Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?
Yes. Select Choose pages on the file and type the pages you want, such as 1-3, 5 or 8- for page 8 to the end. You can also use this with a single PDF to extract or reorder its pages.
Will the merged file keep form fields?
Not reliably. If a file contains form fields or a digital signature, we tell you before merging.
Are my PDFs uploaded?
No. Merging runs in your browser on your device.
